The RS PRO fixed installation DC-AC power adapter converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) to run numerous electrical appliances. It outputs 3000 W of power as a pure sine wave, which many electrical products are designed to work best with.

Housed in an anodised aluminium case, this durable adapter dissipates heat well. It's compact, lightweight and easy to operate, with indicator lights showing when it's working properly. A soft-start mechanism limits the inrush current, preventing jerky operation and sudden mechanical stresses on machinery.

The power inverter is protected against overheating and overload, as well as over-voltage, short circuiting and reverse polarity. A low-voltage alarm shuts the adapter down if needed. Comprehensively tested by engineers, it conforms to standards EN 61000-6-3 (electromagnetic compatibility) and EN 60950-1 on safe information technology equipment.

This type of adapter is used in applications including uninterruptible power supplies, refrigeration compressors and induction heating.
