When measuring viscous fluids like oils and fuels, you need a flow meter with good resistance to chemicals combined with low loss of pressure. This RS PRO compact oval gear meter will do the job, providing you with long-lasting service thanks to its robust construction.

The meter contains two oval-shaped gears that move along with the fluid being measured. Their rotations are transmitted by magnets using a Hall-effect sensor, providing about 1,100 pulses per litre passing through. This product covers flow ranges from 0.01 L/min to 1.0 L/min on 30 cSt oil and 0.1 L/min to 1.0 L/min on liquids such as water. It fits on a quarter-inch British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread.

Corrosion-resistant, it's encased in stainless steel with a durable Viton O-ring. IP67-rated, it's watertight. This type of flow meter is used for measuring fuel usage in engines, as well as in hydraulics and the food industry.
